Term 1 Week10

Hi Room 1

Why doesn’t a bowl of flour, milk, sugar, cocoa and an egg taste like a chocolate cake?


This weeks main homework focus is the research you need to do to for your information report. Remember your homework task is to collect information from a number of sources; books, web, videos/documentaries and experts that will help you answer the question above. We will take notes from these at school.

REMEMBER

You will need to find research that explains the science behind the journey of ingredients to cake. Concepts you will need to know about are…

·      Mixtures
·      Chemical changes
·      Chemical reactions
You will still need to complete your other three pieces of homework - Reading and Vocab Log, Current Events, Mathletics.
